About Pennell Art

My name is Scott Pennell and I am a Mixed Media artist living in the Philadelphia Pennsylvania area. I work with acrylic paints, inks, transfers, collage, digital elements, found objects, image/photo alterations, textures, etc…

Not much to say here other than that I mostly use acrylics, standard brushes, etc... I usually paint on wood panels, cradled wood panels or canvas.

This begins with images that I created/manipulated digitally or I may use images of my own paintings or drawings. These image elements are then gel transferred and/or painted onto a canvas, wood panel, etc…
